.about
Born and raised in a small town in South Africa, Drewe Taylor began his journey through Asia in 2003, living in Vietnam and Malaysia before ultimately making Cambodia his home. Drawn to the country’s rich history, culture, and people, it was impossible not to fall in love with the place that would later shape his creative identity.
Drewe Taylor began his career over a decade ago during the early development of Cambodia’s fashion industry and has since become a staple at Phnom Penh Designers Week, an important platform dedicated to uplifting local and locally
based designers. Strongly influenced by both African and Asian aesthetics, Drewe Taylor is known for youthful, bold, and vibrant collections for men and women that celebrate individuality and self-expression.
With a renewed focus on sustainability, Drewe shifted his practice after witnessing the immense volume of fabric waste discarded in developing countries. His latest collection, Rebels Rise, places upcycling at its core—deconstructing second-hand denim and repurposing discarded fabrics
sourced from fast-fashion factories.
